Lead caps set a maximum number of leads that an agent can take from a single campaign. They override any other distribution engine that is appliedmarketing campaign. Lead caps may be set for the following distribution types only:

How to View Default Lead Caps for All Agents

  1. From the inLead drop-down menu, click Lead Caps.

  2. The Lead Caps queue page opens showing all marketing campaigns. For each campaign, the user can see the distribution group, distribution type, and default lead cap associated with that campaign.

How to Create Default Lead Caps for All Agents in a Marketing Campaign

  1. From the Lead Caps page, click inside the Default Lead Cap box of the campaign whose lead cap you would like to change.

  2. Type or use the up/down arrows to modify the number.

How to Create Custom Lead Caps for Specific Agents in a Marketing Campaign

  1. From the Lead Caps page, choose a name from the User drop-down menu to view the default lead caps for a specific agent.

  1. From the Lead Caps queue, click inside the Default The list of campaigns that opens includes only those that the agent has access to. The Custom Lead Cap column is now included for each campaign.

Lead Cap

  • A specified number is the maximum number of leads a user may have at a given time.

  • If the Lead Cap is left blank, there is no limit to the number of leads assigned/taken via distribution.

  • If the Lead Cap is specified as 0, a user will not receive any leads via distribution.

Open Lead Cap

A specified number is the maximum number of open leads a user can take per day.

Unassigned Lead Cap

A specified number is the maximum number of unassigned leads a user can take per day.
