Description

A button in an email is a clickable graphic element designed to encourage the user to take action. The settings to customize the button’s appearance, such as color, size, and padding, as well as to add links, allow users to create buttons that match their branding and design and to direct recipients to specific destinations.

This article describes the options available for settings the buttons.


Highlight Hovered Buttons Toggle

A highlight hovered button in an email is a clickable graphic element that changes its appearance when the user hovers their mouse over it, typically by increasing the brightness or contrast to create a visual cue that the button is interactive.

Support of Outlook

This option ensures the most accurate display of buttons in MS Outlook email clients by inserting a special VML-code element. When this option is activated, the email size can be increased to kilobyte for each added button.

Button Color

Email button color settings refer to the customization options that allow users to change the background color to create a design that matches their branding and visual style.

Font Color

Set the font color for the header text.

Text Style

  • Font Selection: Users can choose a font for emails from the Text Style/Standard Fonts drop-down menu.

     

  • Font Size: Users can choose a font size from the Text Style drop-down menu.

     

  • Bold and Italic Settings: Users can change selected text to be bold or italicized.

    • Click the B to set the text to bold.

       

    • Click the I to set the text to italics.

       

Border Radius

The border radius for a button in an email refers to the property that controls the curvature of the button's corners, allowing users to create buttons with sharp or rounded corners or with custom shapes, to add visual interest and reinforce the overall design of the email. The default is set to 30.

  • More toggle: This toggle allows users to adjust the sides of the button either independently or separately.

    • ON: The More toggle default is set to On. All sides of the button can be adjusted independently.

    • OFF: Turning the More toggle Off allows users to adjust all sides of the button uniformly.

Internal Padding

Padding around a button in an email refers to the amount of space between the edges of the button and the surrounding content. It can be adjusted to create a button that is visually balanced and aesthetically pleasing by adding space to the width or height of the button.
