Description

Sending a test email when creating content for clients ensures accuracy and professionalism. It allows users to identify any potential issues or errors before the final delivery, thereby providing a seamless and successful client communication experience.

How to Send a Test Email with Existing Content

  1. Select Create New Task.

  2. Click the Send Test Email button.

  3. The Send Test Email window opens.

  4. Click the From Agent drop-down list. You can choose a name directly from the list or use the Search field to find a name to enter as the sender of the email.

  5. Select a borrower's name from the Application drop-down list.

  6. Enter the address to which the test email will be sent in the To Emails(s) field.

  7. Click Send to send the test email.

Note: The selected application will not receive a test email. Its purpose is to pull in any needed data for the test email.


How to Send a Test Email During Content Creation

  1. Open the Regular content editor. Created or edited content can be tested.

  2. Complete the Test Email Configuration section at the bottom of the editor.

    1. Click the From Agent drop-down list. You can choose a name directly from the list or use the Search field to find a name to enter as the sender of the email.

    2. Enter an application number.

      • This must be a valid application number for a lead.

      • When a lead is open in the Application Panel, the application number is available in the URL.

    3. Enter the address to which the test email will be sent in the To Emails(s) field.

  3. Click Send Test Email to send the email.

  4. Open the inbox where the email was sent to see the test sample.
