Problem
Click-To-Call delays within Insellerate are a common issue, though it is very rarely an issue with Insellerate. A Click-To-Call within Insellerate by default does not have a delay. So when our support team has diagnosed this issue in the past, it’s typically found that there is a delay from the carrier of the work phone number being used for a Click-To-Call. This delay is from when a call is initiated to the work phone until when the phone begins to ring. The below steps will show you how to test for this delay.
Testing
Let’s go over some terms before we get started.
Work Phone: This is the number that you would use within Insellerate.
Test Phone: This is the phone that you will use to call the work phone. This could be your cell phone or a friend's phone. In this test, think of this as Insellerate calling your work phone.
Solution
Use a different phone number. See our article on Changing Your Work Number.
Connect with your phone carrier to see if they are able to reduce the lag.
