Classic - Setting Up a Continuous Trigger Path Regardless of Status

Description

Agents can set up a trigger structure that creates a continuous email path to leads regardless of the lead’s current status. Through their selections in the Filter Setup field, agents can define when the emails are sent and which status(es) the lead must be in for the emails to be sent. The lead does not have to be in a particular status but may be in any one of the status(es) the agent had identified in the Status(s) field.

Instructions

The following steps describe how to create an example trigger that follows a continuous path while the lead is in a defined status. This example trigger is set to send an email one day after the lead has been moved to New Lead status and is in the New Lead, Contact Attempted, OR No Sale status.

  1.  Select Status Activity from the Filter Type dropdown menu to create the first filter. This filter defines when the email will be sent.

  2. Select After First Time Lead Has Been from the Send (xxx) in these Status(s)/Activity(s) dropdown menu.

  3. Select New Lead from the Status(s) dropdown menu.

  4. Click Add New Filter.

  5. Select Status Activity from the Filter Type dropdown menu to create the second filter. This filter defines which status(es) the lead can be in to be sent.

Note: Until the Filter Type is defined, the new filter is called New Filter # (whatever number is next chronologically). After the Filter Type is selected, the new filter is identified by its type. In this example, the new filter will be called Status Activity.

  6. Select To All Leads Currently from the Send (xxx) in these Status(s)/Activity(s) dropdown menu.

  7. Select New Lead, Contact Attempted, and No Sale from the Status(s) dropdown menu.

  8. Click Add to create the path and task. (If you are adding a task to an existing path, click Update.)
