Description

The HTML block in an email editor that allows you to add HTML or CSS code provides a designated space to input and customize the code directly, granting users the flexibility to create and modify the structure, design, and functionality of specific elements within the email template.

For HTML Experts
When using your own HTML or CSS code, make sure it's correct and meets the requirements for the layout of email messages.

Warning! Your code can affect the entire email message view.

This section describes how to use the HTML Block

How to Use HTML Blocks

An HTML block allows you to paste HTML code for images and content created in other graphic design programs, facilitating the integration of custom-designed elements into your web page or email template.

Drag and Drop

  1. Click on the words Insert your HTML Code Editor to open the HTML Code Editor.

  2. Copy the HTML or CSS code from your design platform.

  3. Replace “Insert your HTML in the Code editor” with the pasted code from your designer.

  4. After the code is pasted in, the image will display.

Padding

Padding refers to the amount of space around the video content. It can be adjusted to create an email that is visually balanced and aesthetically pleasing by adding space to the width or height. The More toggle allows users to adjust the margins around the video content either independently or separately.

  1. The More toggle default is set to Off. This allows users to adjust all margins around the video content uniformly.

  2. Turning the More toggle On allows all margins around the video content to be adjusted independently.

Hide Element

Users have the option to hide the text on either the desktop or the mobile application.

  • Click the desktop icon to hide the text on the desktop application.

  • Click the mobile device icon to hide the text on the mobile application.

Anchor hyperlinks in emails take readers to specific paragraphs within the email.
