Release v120.2- 7/14/2022
New Features/Enhancements
Branching
Today, we are launching branching throughout the marketing and administrative features in Insellerate. This will allow you to create independent branches with data segregation, marketing campaign segregation, and administration permissions at the branch level. (The current branching in the Insellerate platform is focused on segregating applications and data at the user level for Loan Officers and Sales Management.) The enhancements provide you with more control at the branch level.
Below are the details of how the branching changes will impact user management, marketing campaigns, lead visibility, distribution, inTouch communications, administration, and reporting.
Why it Matters
Branching is for organizations that want to segregate applications, data, marketing, user registration, and permissions to settings at a group level that are different from the organizational level. The additional branching functionality is useful when you want Marketing Managers or Administrators to create and manage branch-level teams and leads.
User Management
User Registration
Currently: Administrators can set up branch-level permissions for all users across an organization.
Enhancement: Administrators' permissions can be set at the organization level (current) or be limited to the branch level. As a note, only Administrators with All Branches permissions can set up other users with the All Branches permissions option.
Partner Setup
Overall Branching Impact: If a branch is entered when setting up a partner in Insellerate, that partner will only be visible to users with that branch visibility. If the branch for the partner is left blank, it will default to All and be visible to all users across the organization.
Marketing Campaigns
Campaigns
Currently: Administrators and Marketing Managers can create and manage any campaign to branch(es) across an organization. This will impact who can see the campaign, leads, and receive distributed leads.
Enhancement: Administrators and Marketing Managers have branch-level permissions that allow them to set up and edit marketing campaigns for the branches ONLY where they have permissions.
Distribution Groups
Currently: Administrators can add and edit users within all distribution groups across an organization.
Enhancement: Administrators have branch-level permissions that allow them to set up and edit distribution groups for the branches ONLY where they have permissions.
Lead Visibility
Search Results: Applications and leads returned in a search are visible by comparing branch permissions with campaign branch permissions.
Fiserv Users: The search results will be filtered based on branch permissions.
Assignment Section inFlow: The inFlow application panel section for Assignment will continue to show all assignment history regardless of branch permissions. This will show the accurate flow of the application between users.
inFlow Pipeline Panel Sections: Find Prospects, Alerts, Open Leads, Custom Queues, Team/Agent drop-downs, Manager Reviews, and Unassigned Leads have been enhanced to display results based on the associated branch permissions.
inFlow Partner Association: When selecting a partner to associate to an application, the partner's selections should show partners related to the associated branch.
Follow-Ups: Follow-ups set up for another user will be limited to users within the user’s branch permissions.
Lead Exceptions: Lead exception visibility is set to display only leads within the user’s branch permissions.
Partner Registration User Visibility: Partner registration users can see partners who match their branch permissions.
Partner Users: Partner users can be set up with View All permissions to view all applications assigned to specific branches.
Custom Queues: Custom queues are set to the user’s branch visibility.
Custom Filters: Custom filters are associated with the user’s assigned branch.
Preset Reports: Preset reports are visible based on the user’s branch permissions.
Lead Distribution
Inbound Call Routing: When a call comes into an inbound call routing number, the call will search applications based on the branch permissions in the campaign.
Assign Action Tool: The Assign Action tool for moving a single account is limited to users where the user has branch permissions.
Bulk Action Tool: The ability to take bulk actions on applications for assignment and status changes will be based on the user’s branch permissions.
Lead Duplication Logic: Duplicate management will consider branch permissions.
inTouch Communication
inTouch: This enhancement brings branching to inTouch. Users will be able to set up communication campaigns for applicants within their branches. Overall, the communications sent to clients will be limited to leads within the user’s branch permissions and sent from users within the user’s branch permissions.
Admins
Custom Queues
Currently: Administrators can add and edit custom queues at any branch level across an organization.
Enhancement: Administrators can set up custom queues for branches ONLY where they have permissions.
Custom Filters
Currently: Administrators can set up custom filters to include in custom queues and preset reports at any branch level across an organization.
Enhancement: Administrators can set up custom filters for branches ONLY where they have permissions.
Preset Reports

Sneak Peek at an Upcoming Enhancement
On our roadmap for later this year, we will make it even easier to manage branches. Currently, a new branch must be added through an individual’s user registration page. In the future, the functionality will be moved to a new section similar to campaigns and distribution groups. Users will be able to:
View all of the branches they have permission to see
Add and edit new branches from that screen
Potential Impacts to Users with “View All” Permissions
Users with View All permissions will be required to have their branch permissions set to All Branches in order to continue to see all leads across an organization. They will otherwise only see leads per their branch permissions. Organization administrators received an email with instructions to add branch permissions for those users who might be impacted by this change.
