Classic - Social Block
Description
Emails can feature and connect to your social media accounts. The social block in an email content editor allows users to insert links and icons to social media accounts in an email.
Adding a Social Block
Drag and drop the social block into one of the structured containers.
Click on the block.
The social block options window opens.
Set the background color. This is the color that fills the area behind the social content. The default setting is transparent but can be changed to a desired color by entering its hex code.
Set the circle color logos.
Select the design style and colors for the social icons to use.
Select the size of the icons.
Click the plus sign [+] to add social icons.
Add social links by entering the URL in the Link field.
Use the link checker to confirm that the link is working.
Information for each social link is shown. The More toggle default is Off.
Turning the More toggle to On allows the social link’s URL, title, and alternative text to be identified and modified if desired.
Clicking the trash can icon removes the link from the social links section.Set the alignment. This will set the alignment for the entire block. The alignment options are right, center, and left. There is a separate option to set the alignment for the mobile application by clicking the Mobile icon.
Use the Indent between icons to increase or decrease the spacing between the social icons.
Padding refers to the amount of space around the social icon. It can be adjusted to create an email that is visually balanced and aesthetically pleasing by adding space to the width or height. The More toggle allows users to adjust the margins around the social icon either independently or separately.
The More toggle default is set to Off. This allows users to adjust all margins around the social icon uniformly.
Turning the More toggle On allows all margins around the social icon to be adjusted independently.
Turn the Add an Anchor Link toggle to On to add hyperlinks that take readers to specific paragraphs within the email.
Users have the option to hide the text on either the desktop or the mobile application.
Click the desktop icon to hide the text on the desktop application.
Click the mobile device icon to hide the text on the mobile application.
