Description

A text block is a designated area within an email template where users can input and format text content, such as a message, introduction, or body text, before sending the email to its intended recipients.

Using a Text Block

The text block in an email content editor allows users to upload and customize images. Users can:

  • Drag and drop the text block into one of the structured containers

  • Access the text editor menu to add formatting to the text

Sidebar Settings

The sidebar options allow users to make adjustments to the settings for the entire text block.

Text Color

Users can select a color with the color picker or input a hex code.

Background Color

The default background color is transparent. Users can select a color with the color picker or by choosing a hex code.

Alignment

This sets the alignment for the entire block. Alignment can be set to center, left, or right. There is an option to set it for mobile use.

Fixed height

The option for a fixed text line height, including the row height, allows you to specify a consistent vertical size for the text within a row and align it at the top, middle, or bottom of the row.

The default is OFF.

Turn on allows you to adjust settings for all rows.

Line Spacing

Users can adjust the spacing between rows of text.

Padding

Padding refers to the amount of space between the edges of the text block and the surrounding content. It can be adjusted to create an email that is visually balanced and aesthetically pleasing by adding space to the width or height of the text block.

More toggle: This toggle allows users to adjust the sides of the text block either independently or separately.

  • The More toggle default is set to On. All sides of the button can be adjusted independently.

  • Turning the More toggle Off allows users to adjust all sides of the button uniformly.

Anchor hyperlinks in emails are meant to take readers to specific paragraphs within the email.

Hide Element

Users have the option to hide the text on either the desktop or the mobile application.

  • Click the desktop icon to hide the text on the desktop application.

  • Click on the mobile device icon to hide the text on the mobile application.
