Classic - Creating a Partner in the Web Application

Description

This article describes adding your partners to Insellerate through the web application. We will cover the required fields to add a partner. All other fields are optional and can be used for reference. There are two ways to add a partner within the Insellerate web application.

 

This article details the following information:


Option 1: Adding a Referral Partner within the inFlow Tab

 

  1. Click the inFlow tab from the main menu.

     

  2. Click the Customer Type dropdown.

     

  3. Select Partners.

     

  4. The Add New Partner section opens.

     

  5. Complete the information fields in the Add a New Partner section.

  6. Click Create Partner to add the new partner.

     


Option 2: Adding a Partner through the Partner Registration Page

 

  1. Click the inFlow tab.

  2. Click Partners in the inFlow dropdown to open the Partner Registration screen.

     

  3. Click Add.

     

  4. The Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen opens.

     

  5. Complete the Partner Information fields on the left side of the Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen.

     

    1. First Name: Enter your partner’s first name.

    2. Last Name: Enter your partner’s last name.

    3. Email: Enter your partner’s email address. (Note: Insellerate will display an error if the partner email is already in Insellerate.)

    4. Phone Numbers (optional): This is recommended as adding the phone numbers will make them available for Click-to-Call functionality in web and mobile applications and inTouch SMS Engagement.

      • Mobile

      • Work

      • Extensions

    5. Address Information (optional)

      • Address

      • City

      • State

      • Postal Code

    6. License: Enter any state or national license number associated to the partner. This is typically the NMLS# for a broker or the real estate license number for realtors. This number will be used for duplicate management to make sure only one partner per license exists.

    7. Company Name (optional): Add or select the company name where the partner is associated. This is recommended as you can use this data when creating inTouch engagement messaging with your partners to personalize and customize your messaging. See the Adding a New Company (Branch) section below for details about completing this field.

    8. Partner Type: Select the appropriate type for the partner from the drop-down list.

    9. Partner Avatar: Upload an image of your partner. This is recommended as you can use these images when creating inTouch engagement messaging with your partners to personalize and customize your messaging, including co-branding for referral client messaging.

  6. Complete the System Associations fields on the right side of the Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen.

     

    1. Insellerate System Branch Association: Criteria for determining which branches open leads, unassigned leads, and applications the user can view. See the Branching article for more information.

    2. Campaign: Select the partner campaign type for your partner.

    3. Primary Agent: Select the primary agent working with your partner.

  7. Click Add to add the partner to Insellerate.


Editing a Partner within the inFlow Tab

 

  1. Click the inFlow tab from the main menu.

  2. Change the Customer Type to Partners.

     

  3. Open the lead to edit the partner in the Application Panel.

  4. Click the Edit Action Tool icon to open the Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen.

     

  5. Complete the Partner Information fields on the left side of the Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen.

     

    1. First Name: Enter your partner’s first name.

    2. Last Name: Enter your partner’s last name.

    3. Email: Enter your partner’s email address. (Note: Insellerate will display an error if the partner email is already in Insellerate.)

All other fields are not required but could help manage the partner relationship.


Editing a Partner through the Partner Registration Page

  3. Click the pencil icon to open the Edit screen.

     

  4. The Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen opens.

     

  5. Complete the Partner Information fields on the left side of the Partner Registration/Manage and Edit Partners screen.

    1. First Name: Enter your partner’s first name.

    2. Last Name: Enter your partner’s last name.

    3. Email: Enter your partner’s email address. (Note: Insellerate will display an error if the partner email is already in Insellerate.)

Adding a Partner on the Borrower Application from Within inFlow

If a user has permission to add/edit partners on the Partners page, they can add a new partner on the borrower application.

  1. Select Borrower from the Customer Type dropdown.

  2. Select a lead.

  3. Open the Contacts for the selected lead.

  4. Click the + icon.

  5. Complete the partner information when the Add New Agent popup window opens.

  6. Click Add Agent to save the information and create the new partner.


Editing a Partner on the Borrower Application from Within inFlow

If a user has permission to add/edit partners on the Partners page, they can edit/update information for an existing partner on the borrower application.

  1. Select Borrower from the Customer Type dropdown.

  2. Select a lead.

  3. Open the Contacts for the selected lead.

  4. Click the down arrow in the partner type field you would like to edit.

  5. Identify the partner to be edited.

  6. Click the edit (pencil) icon.

  7. Make the necessary information changes when the Edit Agent - (agent name) popup window opens.

  8. Click Save Agent to save the changes.


Adding a New Company (Branch)

Users can upload a logo for partner companies and branches to use in signature blocks or co-branded Content Library templates.

For a New Company (Branch)

If a company (branch) has not yet been selected:

  1. Click the + icon in the Company Name (Branch) field.

     

  2. The Add New Company (Branch) window opens.

     

  3. Enter the company (branch) name in the Organization Name field.

     

  4. Drag/drop or upload the company (branch) logo in the Upload Partner Branch Avatar field.

     

  5. Click Add Branch.

     

For an Existing Company (Branch)

If a company has already been selected from the Company Name (Branch) dropdown:

  1. Click the edit (pencil) icon in the Company Name (Branch) field.

     

  2. The Edit Company (Branch) -<Company Name> window opens.

     

  3. Enter the company (branch) name in the Organization Name field.

     

  4. Drag/drop or upload the company (branch) logo in the Upload Partner Branch Avatar field.

     

  5. Click Save Branch.


Partner Registration Grid

The Partner Registration grid shows you all referral partners based on the user selection in the Team/Agent dropdown.


Partner Sync from Encompass

If the Encompass Partner contact fields are in the Encompass Reporting database, then Insellerate can bring the field-level data into the application for that client. Contact your Customer Success Manager to update your Encompass mapping.

Note: This will not create a new partner in Insellerate. It just adds it to the individual client application.

Pro Tip: You can use these fields to build relationships with your partners using them in inTouch marketing emails and SMS.
