Classic - Prospects vs. Applications
Prospects and applications are two terms to refer to leads within Insellerate.
A prospect is a lead that has never been assigned to a user.
An application is a lead that is assigned to a user.
Notes
Prospects can be taken to become applications.
An application will always have at least one user assigned. Applications cannot become prospects.
Creating a lead from inFlow only creates an application, not a prospect.
Prospects
Prospects are leads containing basic information about the property, borrower, and loan details. This information cannot be viewed or changed until the prospect becomes an application.
Areas that display prospects:
Prospect search Prospect Details popup
Unassigned Leads section in inFlow
Lead Exception page
Number of Prospects count in Marketing Report
Methods to upload prospects:
Creating an Application from a Prospect
Search for a prospect in inFlow with Prospect Search. The Prospect Search Results popup will open.
Find the prospect.
Click the Take button next to the lead. The Take button is available if you are eligible for the lead based on state licensing.
The popup will close and the application will open on the right side of inFlow.
Applications
Applications are leads assigned a user. Fields of an application can be modified within inflow and via API.
Various actions can be performed on an application.
Methods to create an application:
Take a prospect from Prospect Search
Take a prospect from the Unassigned Leads section in inFlow
Assign a prospect from the Lead Exception page
Manually create a new application in inFlow
Viewing applications
You can always view applications that are assigned to you. If other users report to you, you can also view their applications.
To view an application:
Select an application from a status in inFlow.
The application will open on the right side of inFlow.
Note: If you receive a red popup notification when attempting to open an application, you do not have the correct viewing permissions.
