Overview

The Create New Content Document Template option allows users to use an HTML editor to create and embed HTML content.

This article describes creating content using the New Content Document Template. It covers the following topics:


Accessing the New Content Document Template

  1. Click on the Add Content button

  2. Select the Document Template option from the drop-down

  3. This opens the Template HTML Editor


Navigating the New Content Document Template

Left Menu Bar

  1. Template Name: The template name serves as the identifier and the name of the saved content that can be easily accessed and reused whenever needed.

    1. Enter a template name.

  2. Content-Type: The content type is a drop-down where you should identify the content as a Flyer or Social Media Image.

    1. Select the Content-Type

  3. Select the Download Type: This determines the file format for the download.

  4. Tags: A content tag will help you categorize similar templates. Users can create or choose tags from an existing list of tags.

  5. View Permissions: This allows you to limit who views your content.

    1. Branch: Select the branches from the drop-down list to see the content.

    2. Users: Select any individual users that can see the content.

Top Menu

  1. Choose Tokens: This allows you to include data from the lead.

  2. HTML allows users to enter code.

  3. Preview allows users to view the HTML Code visually.

  4. Download the content


Creating Content using HTML

  1. Users that know HTML can generate the HTML directly in the editor.

    1. Write HTML Code

    2. Copy embeddable HTML Code from your content creator and past into the HTML Editor

  2. Choose from Tokens to use in your content.

  3. Click Preview to preview the content.

  4. Click update to save the content.

    1. This will save it and make it visible in the Content Library viewable based on branch or user permissions.
