Path Setup

This article provides an overview of how to set up inTouch paths with one or more tasks.

The maximum number of inTouch paths that can be created per organization is 35. When a path is marked 'Inactive,” it will not count toward the total of 35 allowed paths.

Active toggle switch

By default, the toggle switch is ON. This allows you to activate/deactivate an inTouch path. Activating an inTouch path means tasks within the path will be executed as set up. When a path is marked 'Inactive,” it will not count toward your total of 35 allowed paths

inTouch campaign

  • This is a required field.

  • An inTouch campaign is required to classify inTouch paths. They are used to identify the marketing campaigns and/or the purpose of an inTouch path.

Name

  • This is a required field.

  • Any name can be given to an inTouch path with the maximum of 64 characters.

Description

  • This is an optional field.

  • A description may be added to an inTouch path with the maximum of 64 characters.

Custom 1 – 6

  • These fields are optional.

  • They can be used to create custom tags or display information relevant to a specific inTouch path.

Pipeline

  • Provides an overview of all the tasks within an inTouch path.

  • An inactive task will show up in red. An active task will show up in green.

  • A maximum of six tasks in a row can be linked in a parent-child relationship.

  • The query result of a child task is dependent on the execution and the results of the parent task. The parent task is executed first and the results from the execution are used by the child tasks to filter out their own results.
