Local Dial Presence
Description
Local Dial Presence is a feature that uses a purchased phone number with the same area code as the borrower’s area code during an outbound call. The Local Dial Presence page contains a list of all the numbers purchased with specific area codes for the organization. These numbers are shared by all the users in the organization.
How It Works
When a user places a call to the borrower, the caller ID displayed on the borrower’s phone is the local dial presence number. The borrower’s phone number and the local dial presence number have the same area code.
If there is no local dial presence number with the same area code, the caller ID displayed on the borrower’s phone is the caller ID in the user profile of the user who performs the call. The agent’s caller ID always displays when it matches the area code of the borrower.
If both the local dial presence and caller ID are not defined, the user’s organization number appears.
If a borrower returns a call to the local dial presence number, Insellerate transfers the call to the last user who made a call to the borrower. The call will connect to the user’s work phone number defined in their user profile.
Users can Add mappings from existing phone numbers to new area codes. One phone number can be tied to multiple area codes.
Existing mapping can be deleted by checking the box in the last column of each row and then clicking Delete button.
Purchasing New Local Dial Presence Numbers
New local dial presence numbers can be purchased by area code by clicking the Purchase Org Numbers button.
If numbers are available for the selected area code, a green popup notification is displayed and the numbers are successfully purchased.
If a number with that area code is not available then a warning popup notification is displayed to notify the user.
Deleting Local Dial Presence Numbers
A local dial presence number can be deleted by clicking the Delete Org Numbers button.
