Triggers are a part of the task template that contains the filter combinations required to trigger the tasks.

Term

Description

Trigger Name

Any name can be given to the trigger.

Parent Name

 

Description

Any description can be provided for the trigger.

Filters

  • Filters are used to select the applications to receive the inTouch items.

  • Each combination of filters is a new trigger.

  • At least one filter is required to create a trigger.

  • Up to seven filters are allowed to be added.

  • If a task contains Triggers 1 and 2, both trigger one of the conditions that must be met to trigger the task.

Dependent Task

Tasks (emails or SMS) can be combined (by an admin) with a dependency timer which removes the dependency on how long a user has been in a defined status.
