Voicemail for Inbound Calls
Overview
This article describes how to use the voicemail feature of the webphone.
How to Record a New Voicemail Message
Click the Settings icon to open the Settings popup window.
Click the Call Handling tab in the Webphone Settings popup window.
Select a number(s) from the Phone Number dropdown list.
Click Modify Unanswered Call Handling Settings.
Click Voicemail when the Modify Unanswered Call Handling Settings popup window opens.
The Modify Unanswered Call Handling Settings/VOICEMAIL popup window opens. You can:
Record a new voicemail
Listen to an existing audio file
Click the Record New Voicemail dropdown arrow.
Click Record New Voicemail. Record the new message.
Click Stop Recording Voicemail when your message is complete.
Play back your recorded voicemail.
Use the Record New Voicemail button to re-record the voicemail if necessary.
Click the Upload button to add the voicemail.
Enter a number between 5 and 60 in the Voicemail Inbound Call Timeout field. This allows you to choose the length of time that the phone will ring before the call goes to voicemail. You can set the time anywhere between 5 and 60 seconds.
Click Apply Settings to All Numbers.
Confirm the change by clicking Apply in the confirmation popup window.
Click Save to save the changes.
Click Confirm to confirm saving the changes.
How to Listen to an Existing Audio File
Click the Settings icon to open the Settings popup window.
Click the Call Handling tab in the Webphone Settings popup window.
Select a number(s) from the Phone Number dropdown list.
Click Modify Unanswered Call Handling Settings.
Click Voicemail when the Modify Unanswered Call Handling Settings popup window opens.
The Modify Unanswered Call Handling Settings/VOICEMAIL popup window opens. You can:
Listen to an existing audio file
Click the Existing Audio dropdown arrow.
You can select an existing audio file, listed in the Audio File section, as a new voicemail recording.
Click the blue arrow to listen to the audio file.
Click the green checkmark to select the audio file. Once selected, the file name will be listed in the Voicemail Greeting URL field above.
Click the green checkmark to select a fileThe selected file is listed in the Voicemail Greeting URL fieldSelect the red trashcan to delete the audio file.

How to Check Your Voicemail
Click the Voicemail icon on the webphone to view a list of voicemails. A number present shows you how many new voicemail messages you have.
You can view all messages (Show All) or hide any hidden messages (Hide Hidden) by toggling the button.
Click a voicemail to open the Recording panel.
Four options are available in the Recording panel.
Play: Plays back the recorded message.
Volume: Adjusts the volume up and down.
Download: Downloads a copy of the message.
Hide: Removes the voicemail from the display view.
